Only the beautiful garden Monet paintings, Ruby! He painted trains, snow-filled landscapes, and bleak city scenes too! Monet was concerned about the effect of the modern age on society and nature, which is why he painted the landscape…with a train puffing through, or a fishing boat under a huge bridge. As he got older, he zeroed in on the beauty, not the dichotomy of industrialization vs. Mother Nature.
(Attended a Monet exhibit while in London in May; learned a TON about Monet!…LOL!)
